Glamping: The new frontier for the Hyundai Leisure Generator

"nature and nuture"

HY1000si is a perfect companion for those who like to camp in the outdoors

A friend of mine recently said to me that they were going to go Glamping.  I was baffled by this word and I had no idea of what he was talking about. My friend explained that it means ‘glamorous camping’. Glamping obviously being a mixture of Camping and Glamour. When I think of camping the last word I would use is glamorous. Try Smelly, grouchy, irritated, bored and hungry. You might have guessed by now that I hate camping. I didn’t like it when I was young. I don’t like it now.  I like my own bathroom, I like eating warm delicious food, I like my gadgets such as my iPhone and my iMac and most importantly I love sleeping in a warm comfy bed. I sound like a spoilt brat but at least I am being honest about it

That said I don’t hate the countryside or rural activities. I’m not Bear Grylls.  I’ll admit but I still enjoy woodland walks or mountain hikes. The great outdoors. One of the best holidays I ever had was when I was younger I visited my relatives up in  Cumbria, Cockermouth (stop sniggering at the back) and they lived near the lake district which meant the week was full of fun outdoor activities.  The greatest part of it all was that I could enjoy the wilderness during the day but go back to my relatives’ warm house and have a warm cooked meal, watch a film on TV and sleep comfortably at night.

One of the most irritating things about going camping is the awkward struggle between Man Vs Tent.  The friction it could cause between you and your partner or your children who are at this point are impatient and want you to hurry up so you can take them to the beach.  Now what if Camping didn’t have to be a complete an utter hassle? Glamping is the answer! The stress-free answer to your outdoor family Holiday or possible romantic getaway. A Glamping site will have all the luxuries of most 4 star hotels such as clean running water. Controllable heating. Adjustable lights. A big comfy bed with clean sheets. Private Toilets and Washing facilities. Electrical outlets for campers to charge their laptops or mobile phones for those who might want to enjoy the outdoors but still want to be connected to their own cyberspace. Glamping was first introduced as an alternative to regular camping at Music Festivals such as Download and Glastonbury but now there are many holiday resorts that offer Glamping.
Many Glamping sites have to have electrical power to retain certain luxuries which I have mentioned.  How would one get access to such electrical power in rural holiday areas that are off the grid so to speak? A Leisure Generator is the solution. Hyundai offers a great range of Leisure Generators that are compact and easy to store for travel. It is simply a case of just get up and go with the majority of generators that Hyundai offer. You can pick it up and go! Put it in the back of your boot with the rest of your camping gear and I can assure you that you’ll be very glad to have it with you on your camping experience.

Every Leisure Generator that Hyundai have released on the market use digital inverter technology to make sure that your mobile phone or laptop can be charged safely with out risk of damage, while also being able to power other electronic products that may require more power such as a caravan oven or reading lamps.

The sleek design of these Hyundai Leisure generators are stylish and modern that covers up the eyesore that most generators have on show. The Hyundai Leisure Generators cover up their bits and bobs but this design has a practical benefit too as this means that all Hyundai Leisure Generators are the quietist on the market . A quiet smooth running Leisure generator from Hyundai would have to be vital contribution for your Glamping experience! Or normal camping but with the added luxury of electric!

Knowing my gripes with camping but my love for outdoor activities you can see why I would be eager to go Glamping but certain sites maybe a little bit out of my price range.  The majority of Glamping sites can cost up to £600 a week.

I would rather invest in a Hyundai Leisure Generator, for under £400 Hyundai offer the HY1000Si which offers 1000w worth of power but only weighs 13kg meaning that get up and go notion is well and truly embodied with this Hyundai Leisure Generator. All Hyundai Leisure Generators come with a two year warranty so you know with its affordable price that you have made a sensible investment in making sure you have a little bit of luxury each time you embrace the great outdoors.

Lets go glamping with Hyundai Generators

HY1000si is a perfect companion for camping.

As the festival and the summer season looms every year, camping becomes more and more popular. For most people, the idea of “roughing it” in the wilderness may sound appealing, but in reality, the majority of camping trips tend to include the cold and damp, an uncomfortable sleeping bag, and waking up with a variety of bugs in your tent. However, if you are the type of person that still wants to experience the beautiful countryside and scenery, but don’t want to go without your phone charger or hair straighteners, then don’t fret, a more upmarket option has been designed just for you – Glamping.

Glamping, which is basically a travellers shorthand for “glamorous camping,” is a luxury camping holiday that features all the normal exposure to nature as would a traditional camping trip, but with the added bonus of comfort, with holidays being available in large tents, tipis and yurts, with some of these having luxuries such as quality beds, wood burning stoves and electricity supply.

Glamping seems to have originated over the last couple of years, with festivals and outdoor camping experiences becoming more and more the norm of the summer months as a cheaper alternative to your standard holiday abroad. It originated from wealthy travellers and celebrities at these events wanting to avoid the mud and bugs in order to watch a show, and looked for a more extravagant alternative. Therefore, many groups saw the need to market a style of camping to cater to these types of people, who want to experience the fun, memorable bits of camping, without having to experience the not so nice downfalls.

Glamping is provided by many different camp sites, throughout Britain, and across the world, ranging from Tipis in Dorset to luxurious canvas eco-lodges in Texas.

Now, you may wonder how these tents have all these fabulous amenities, especially things like electricity supply, kettles and other home comforts. Although some tend to use natural means of power, such as solar panels, many tend to use a more reliable source of power in the form of a generator, which is where the Hyundai Generators come into play.

The Hyundai camping inverter generators are super value for money, and very affordable pricing compared to other leading brands. They offer various benefits; for starters, they are extremely lightweight, with the HY1000Si weighing in at just 13kg. It has a max power of 1000w, and is ideal for any style of camping trip. It’s a very popular choice due to its low noise level of 58db, and has a run time of 3 to 5 hours.

The larger models, such as the HY2000SEI, also features an electric remote start, which allows the generator to be started by an electric remote, which can start the generator from a distance of up to 20m away, so you don’t even have to get out of your tent.

All of Hyundai’s range of generators also produces a Pure Sine Wave output, which guarantees a 100% stable voltage for running your smaller electric equipment, such as your laptop or phone charger.

Genpower Ltd is the sole UK importers for Hyundai generators providing a range of stock for immediate delivery, and all with a 2 year Hyundai warranty. On their website, you can purchase a HY1000si 1kw Digital Inverter generator as previously described for under £500 plus VAT.

As Glamping gets more and more popular, many campers are purchasing more and more higher end amenities to go on their trips, but if it’s only one thing that you bring with you on your travels, make sure it’s a generator.
