Surge in Backup Generator Sales in India Due to Powercut

Over half the population of India has been left with no power due to a huge breakdown with the country’s national grid. This left India in a chaotic state with a large amount of transport issues, such as the trains basically coming to a stand still.

The hospitals have sensibly got back up generators in full supply to make sure those who are most vulnerable can still get the health care they need. The power minster of India has placed the blame on the states for over sourcing the grids and putting too much strain on the grids. The estimated amount of those affected or without power is exceeding 600 million people.

Power shortages in Indian cities are quite common. This is because the grid is old and out dated and can’t cope with the amount of power that the country of India can now afford to demand. The economy has improved therefore the people of India have increased the amount of electronics they can afford.

Earlier I said it was sensible that India’s hospitals had backup generators ready. You may think that having your own backup generator for your business or home may be too costly and even though you would like the security of having power during a power cut, especially in this unstable environmental weather we face in Britain.  What if I was to tell you that having your own backup generator.

Never worry about power cuts again!

Here at Genpower we offer the Hyundai DHY6000 that costs under £1200 pounds a relatively low price compared to higher priced generators on the market at the moment, many costing over £2000 compared to what Genpower would charge for a backup generator.

With the DHY6000SE you will not have to worry about losing power on any electrical device in your home or office as it will power every device you may need and in the case of a power cut where you won’t know when the normal power source will be returned you will want to have hot water and of course a warm home with access to communication devices such as a mobile phone or laptop. To continue your lifestyle stress free.

Go Glamping with the Hyundai HY1000Si Camping Generator!

The festival season is here and that means many things; music, sunshine and partying. But what about the camping generator? One of the appealing aspects to many festival goers is the camping bit and the popularity of music festivals show that camping isn’t just an activity for families now. There is something iconic about a rock ‘chick’ or ‘indie kid’ sat upright in their tent, that we may associate that image with the modern youth of today in years to come. Officially now, music and camping go together hand in hand. Camping is cool. I love music and festivals but I don’t like camping. I don’t like the ‘roughing it’ part. I like to sleep comfortably and have a comfy warm bed, not the grassy cold ground underneath.

The thing I dislike the most about camping is the lack of my gadgets. I don’t like going anywhere without my phone or laptop as I very much like to be connected to the ‘blogosphere’ and be up to date with the latest news and cyber gossip. Indeed, most youth interactivity these days involves the same group of people all posting the same photo to Instagram at the same time of the same thing, just from a slightly different angle. If I don’t have access to my laptop then I at least want my phone, so I can still communicate with my friends. I like the security of communication, especially when I’m out of my comfort zone and when I’m at a camping ground full of rock fans, its safe to say that I am definitely out of my comfort zone.

If you are like me when it comes to camping then there is alternative solutions to the problems, and nuisances of general camping one being as simple as upgrading to a Glamping site that many festivals offer, such as Download festival who offer many Glamping alternatives such as using yurts and wigwams to have a more comfortable experience. These Glamping sites have such benefits of own lights and electric outlets for your but for nearly £2,000 to stay in a more sophisticated camping atmosphere, that is a little bit too indulgent and pricey for most festival goers. Is there an alternative to spending that much money and still having access to power sources for your gadgets?

The Camping Generator

A camping generator that is more than reliable for your gadgetry needs, the sine wave technology that is built in with these products mean that you can power your products safely with out fear of damaging them. The HY1000Si is lightweight at just 13kg ,you can pick it up and pop it in the boot with the rest of your camping essentials. Compact and easy to use and easy on the eye! with it’s sleek sensible design. At 58db (@7m) You know you wouldn’t have to worry about upsetting your camping neighbours. Glamping at this years festivals may be an option you can’t afford but at least you can still have something that will make your camping experience a little bit more glamorous!

Quite a quiet festival – Needs a camping generator!

Yesterday my friends returned from a small local music festival, it wasn’t a very big festival it was just some local unknown bands playing for friends, family and anyone else who wanted to show up for that evening which happened to end up being a fair sized audience. Although this was not a big festival my friends all had one major complaint which was that the music was just too quiet, the field it was hosted in was not huge by any stretch of the imagination but at the back of this small field they could barely hear the music they came to listen to.

Personally I have not been to a festival before but I am sure a majority of the audience would have been able to hear it okay, but a combination of the sounds of the rest of the audience and the distance from the stage meant my friends could not hear the music. I do not know if I would enjoy the atmosphere of festivals but I would think getting the music across such a small area shouldn’t be a problem.

So what my friends said got me thinking and asking questions. As I have already said the festival was located on a small field so there would have been no local power supply for it, I then realised they must have had a generator with a insufficient power supply to cope with an appropriate audio system along with everything else they were trying to power, from what my friends described to me the speakers were small and not powerful enough to get the sound across the whole of the field.

They should have used a HY3000SEi Hyundai camping generator, these inverter generators also have other uses than for just camping.

This camping generator has all of it machinery covered up, so if it would be needed to sit on stage visible to an audience it wouldn’t be an eye sore. This also gives it an additional bonus of being rather quite for a generator so it will not interfere with the music or be picked up by the microphone on stage. Additionally the camping generator comes with a digital inverter, the digital inverter lets the generator know the difference between a light bulb and a computer this means you could power a computer with a stable voltage so that the computer or other stuff which needs more stable voltage like a mobile phone charger would not get its sensitive electronics fried.  This camping generator could be used to easily power the lighting, sound systems, any electrical instruments and any behind the stage stuff that may need electrical power. Also coming with a 2 year warranty it would be a great investment for anyone trying to host a music festival(s).

Lets go glamping with Hyundai Generators

HY1000si is a perfect companion for camping.

As the festival and the summer season looms every year, camping becomes more and more popular. For most people, the idea of “roughing it” in the wilderness may sound appealing, but in reality, the majority of camping trips tend to include the cold and damp, an uncomfortable sleeping bag, and waking up with a variety of bugs in your tent. However, if you are the type of person that still wants to experience the beautiful countryside and scenery, but don’t want to go without your phone charger or hair straighteners, then don’t fret, a more upmarket option has been designed just for you – Glamping.

Glamping, which is basically a travellers shorthand for “glamorous camping,” is a luxury camping holiday that features all the normal exposure to nature as would a traditional camping trip, but with the added bonus of comfort, with holidays being available in large tents, tipis and yurts, with some of these having luxuries such as quality beds, wood burning stoves and electricity supply.

Glamping seems to have originated over the last couple of years, with festivals and outdoor camping experiences becoming more and more the norm of the summer months as a cheaper alternative to your standard holiday abroad. It originated from wealthy travellers and celebrities at these events wanting to avoid the mud and bugs in order to watch a show, and looked for a more extravagant alternative. Therefore, many groups saw the need to market a style of camping to cater to these types of people, who want to experience the fun, memorable bits of camping, without having to experience the not so nice downfalls.

Glamping is provided by many different camp sites, throughout Britain, and across the world, ranging from Tipis in Dorset to luxurious canvas eco-lodges in Texas.

Now, you may wonder how these tents have all these fabulous amenities, especially things like electricity supply, kettles and other home comforts. Although some tend to use natural means of power, such as solar panels, many tend to use a more reliable source of power in the form of a generator, which is where the Hyundai Generators come into play.

The Hyundai camping inverter generators are super value for money, and very affordable pricing compared to other leading brands. They offer various benefits; for starters, they are extremely lightweight, with the HY1000Si weighing in at just 13kg. It has a max power of 1000w, and is ideal for any style of camping trip. It’s a very popular choice due to its low noise level of 58db, and has a run time of 3 to 5 hours.

The larger models, such as the HY2000SEI, also features an electric remote start, which allows the generator to be started by an electric remote, which can start the generator from a distance of up to 20m away, so you don’t even have to get out of your tent.

All of Hyundai’s range of generators also produces a Pure Sine Wave output, which guarantees a 100% stable voltage for running your smaller electric equipment, such as your laptop or phone charger.

Genpower Ltd is the sole UK importers for Hyundai generators providing a range of stock for immediate delivery, and all with a 2 year Hyundai warranty. On their website, you can purchase a HY1000si 1kw Digital Inverter generator as previously described for under £500 plus VAT.

As Glamping gets more and more popular, many campers are purchasing more and more higher end amenities to go on their trips, but if it’s only one thing that you bring with you on your travels, make sure it’s a generator.

BBC News – Wales flooding: Victims hoping for return to homes

Wales Flooding

People are left counting the cost of Mother Nature as caravan parks and villages near Aberystwyth were inundated by floodwater when twice as much rain fell in 24 hours than normally falls in the area in the whole of June.

The areas worst affected in the early hours of Saturday were Talybont, Dol-y-bont, Llandre, and Penrhyncoch – all in the mid-Wales region of Ceredigion.
