This is the ideal home standby generator and can be wired into your home electrical system with a 100Amp changeover switch.
In the event of a power failure, just turn the key on the generator and flick the changeover switch and you will be able to power all the essential appliances from your own generator.
A 5kw diesel generator woul power the following items in an average size house:

Plus one of the following: Washing machine, Dishwaher, Electric kettle etc.
Care must be taken not to exceed the 5000w maximum (4500w continuous maximum)
N.B. This is a 3000rpm diesel generator. This class of generator is not designed to be used as a sole source of power - it is ideal as a standby machine.
Servicing requirements:
Engine Oil and filter change - After the first 20 hours, then every 100 hours.
Air filter- change every 500 hours (sooner in dusty environments)
Fuel filter- change every 500 hours
Alternator brushes- change every 1000 hours
