Belt Drive Air Compressors

The expected working life of a belt air drive compressor is far greater than a direct drive air compressor as the belt drive reduces the engines 2800rpm to around 1200rpm at the pump, making for a pump that is under much less stress.

Machines are available as both single phase, three phase and petrol driven. A single phase air compressor tends to be driven by a 3hp electric motor, whereas the larger three phase compressors may be driven by a motor or engine up to 11hp.

Tanks sizes start at 50 litres and run through 100 litres, 150 litres, 200 litres right upto 270  litres. A petrol belt drive air compressor gives you the flexibility of being able to work with air tools where you don't have access to an electrical supply. This is ideal for building sites, rural areas and mobile tyre fitters and mechanics who need to use an air compressor whilst on the move.
